In the town of Gampola in central Sri Lanka, the Ambuluwawa mountain stands over 1,000 metres high. And on it is the Ambuluwawa Tower, which is shaped like a Buddhist stupa. The higher you climb the tower, the narrower the stairs get. So to ascend is only for those with stomachs of steel.
