Anyone who has been lucky enough to stay over at Tintswalo Atlantic in Cape Town can vouch for the amazing food they serve there – with views to die for. But you had to be staying there to enjoy it. Since last month, however, day guests will also be able to eat at the resort’s new restaurant, Tintswalo Kitchen.

At the same time, the resort is offering a 50 percent discount to locals who book a 2-night Staycation.

The menu at the Kitchen features fresh, seasonal cuisine, presented as Small Plates. The fixed-price menu of R650 per person offers diners their choice of five items selected from the menu, including seafood, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as desserts. Tintswalo also has an amazing cellar for wines to go with the meals. They offer lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday and lunch on Sunday.

Diners can sit outside on the deck, and take in those amazing views across Hout Bay, or in the cozy lounge with fireplace. No more than 40 diners will be allowed.

Tintwalo Atlantic, sitting on a pebbled beach far below Chapman’s Peak, has 10 guest suites, including a 2-bedroom Presidential Suite, all individually decorated and named after famous islands around the world.

Coinciding with the launch of the new restaurant concept, a special 50 percent discount offer on accommodation is available to South Africans residents when booking a luxurious 2-night Staycation.
