Air France has announced it will be expanding its operations in Africa with an increased number of flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle in Paris and Johannesburg, and a brand-new route to Maputo, Mozambique, from 20 June 2021.
From June, the Air France flights to South Africa will leave Paris on Sunday and Thursday, and return on Monday and Friday. Air France now flies to 43 cities on the continent. The flight to Maputo will be a continuation of the Johannesburg flight.
“In recent years, Mozambique has emerged as an important business destination, due to its rich natural energy reserves. We will connect Maputo to all major cities in Europe and the rest of the world, thanks to our extensive global network,” said Wouter Vermeulen, General Manager Southern Africa Air France-KLM.
